Thanks for your interest in First-Year Focus! On this page, you'll find details on applying to the program. Please read the following information carefully before filling out the form.

Deadline

FYF program will not be offered to new students for 2024W. Please check back for future years.

FYF Application for 2023 Winter is closed.  Applications are being considered on a rolling basis, subject to space in the program. Applications received after June 1st, 2023 will be considered, but applications received prior to the deadline will be given priority. All applications must be submitted using our online application.

Before you Apply 

Before you click the apply link, please read information on other webpages under "Why Choose FYF" and "Classes and Schedules" to get a basic understanding of FYF program.  Once started, the application form can’t be saved, so please plan to complete it in one sitting. The entire Application Form will take about 10 minutes to finish.

What to Expect after Applying

  • All communication will be via your email address provided on the application. Check this often!
  • If you are offered a space in the program, you’ll have 7 days to accept the offer.
  • If you are waitlisted, you will be notified. You can expect to hear anytime between April and early September if a spot becomes available to you. If you’re moved off the waitlist and offered a space, you will have 7 days to accept the offer.
  • Students accepted into the program will receive further information in advance of the registration dates about how to register in the program.
